How to Use
Using a mortar and pestle, grind saffron threads into a fine powder and dissolve in a small amount of hot water to achieve desired color and aroma intensity. When dissolved, add to your food as desired. For better grinding, add a pinch of coarse sugar to the saffron.
To steep, place desired number of saffron threads in hot water (between 160° F/71° C and 170°F/77°C) for about 15 minutes. The saffron will be ready to use in your dish or drink once the water has turned a deep orange.
